I have been working with images for more than three decades, and my journey as a cinematographer has taken me from advertising and fashion to feature films and documentary-style storytelling.
I am drawn to images that feel honest, human and emotionally engaging. For me, cinematography is not simply about making beautiful pictures. It is about finding the right light, the right perspective and the right moment to serve the story.
My feature film work includes My Magic and Be with Me, both directed by Eric Khoo and celebrated at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as Spirit World, starring Catherine Deneuve, and Luck My Life.
Over the years, I have worked across many different kinds of productions, but the part I value most has remained the same — working with people. I enjoy the process of listening, sharing ideas and finding a visual language together with the director and the creative team.
I believe cameras, lenses and lighting are ultimately tools. What matters is what we do with them — how we observe people, how we understand a story, and how we make an audience feel something.
After all these years, I am still curious about light, people and the world in front of the camera.
That curiosity is what keeps me going.
